Therapy

My Approach

I believe healing happens when we begin to feel safe—within ourselves, within our bodies, and within our relationships.

Trauma can disconnect us from our emotions, our physical sensations, and our ability to trust ourselves or others. Many people learn to survive by staying in their heads, constantly analyzing, overthinking, or anticipating what comes next. While these strategies may have once been protective, they can also leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and the relationships that matter most.

My approach to therapy is relational, trauma-informed, and body-centered. Together, we'll explore not only what happened, but how those experiences continue to shape your nervous system, your relationships, and the way you move through the world today.

I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe enough to slow down, reconnect with your body, and explore new ways of responding to life's challenges.

Healing isn't about becoming someone different, it's about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that have always been there beneath survival.

Depending on your goals and needs, I may incorporate approaches such as:

  • Somatic-based techniques

  • Natural Lifemanship®-informed principles

  • Relational therapy

  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) tapping

  • Deep Brain Reorienting–informed interventions as my training progresses

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Acceptance and Commitment informed practices

  • Mindfulness-based practices

  • DBT-informed skills for emotional regulation and distress tolerance

Every client is different, so therapy is always tailored to your unique experiences, strengths, and goals.

Who I Work With

I welcome adolescents, young adults, and adults from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.

I have a particular passion for supporting individuals who are navigating:

  • Trauma and complex trauma

  • Anxiety and chronic stress

  • Life transitions

  • Relationship challenges

  • Being caregivers

  • Self-esteem and identity development

  • Foster care, adoption, and child welfare experiences

  • Emotional overwhelm or feeling "stuck"

  • Overthinking, perfectionism, or feeling disconnected from yourself

Whether you're seeking healing from past experiences, looking to build healthier relationships, or hoping to reconnect with yourself, therapy offers a space to slow down, be understood, and move toward lasting change.

A Unique Perspective

My work has spanned both direct clinical care and systems-level change. That experience allows me to understand not only the challenges individuals face, but also the broader systems that influence mental health, family well-being, and access to care. I strive to create a space where every client feels heard, respected, and supported.
